Heyriyaa Boduberu Group, or commonly known as Heyriyaa, was founded in 2010, by the name of Furaavaru Boduberu, but under a new management and a new development, Furaavaru was rebranded to Heyriyaa Boduberu Group in 2014. Through the years, we have given approximately 800 or more performances. Heyriyaa is widely known around the atoll, and atolls nearby as well. Commonly we are known for our vocals, energetic drumming, and our relentless dancers who never fails to please a crowd or two. Perfectly rounding up the traditional show business that is all the hype throughout the nation. What started as a hobby for a group of friends, turned into one of the largest boduberu groups in the region.

Heyriyaa Studio was officially opened for members in 2017. Since then, our studio has undergone massive interior developments and changes, including our recording setups and whatnot. In the later years, our production quality and level increased and we introduced our music band as well. In such production levels, we also have attempted to fuse traditional and modern music, giving birth to a product never seen elsewhere.

In 2020, Heyriyaa Sports Club was brought to life, and our club participated in our first volleyball tournament. Since then, we have participated in numerous tournaments, notably our first ever futsal tournament, Maduvvari Dhaaira Futsal Challenge, in which we reached the final on our first spin. Not only the men of heyriyaa have stepped up in the field of sports, but the women too have started stepping up by partaking and showing a promising performance in the Mahaarehendhi Netball Fiesta 2022. The tournament was followed by R. Meedhoo Council Futsal Fiesta in which our Futsal team had another splendid run, only to fall out of a narrow defeat in the semi finals. A promising aspect of our organization, with promising members around to reach our potentiol and beyond.

Our homeland's most unique sights can be seen right outside our studio, named after our organization, Heyriyaa Beach. Developed under the careful observation of the authorities, the beach was brought into picture in 2020, and since then the beach has gone a massive overhaul and developments, which mainly focuses on giving back to our homeland, which we adore. Pine trees, Palm trees, the list goes on and on as a number of botanic varieties can be seen at heyriyaa beach. As of recent, Heyriyaa was awarded the “Nala Nala Meedhoo Award” by the Secretariat of R. Meedhoo Council in an attempt to appreciate our efforts in the development of our home.
